Christine L. Crilley is a nationally approved mediation trainer and mediator in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area. Her main law and mediation center is located in Hiawatha, Iowa and has a satellite office in downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  Ms. Crilley is also a general practice attorney with over twenty-five years of experience.  

As an Advanced Practitioner member of the Association for Conflict Resolution as well as a Linn County Family Law Roster Mediator, Christine mediates in a variety of different areas of the law and disputes, including but not limited to family law, real estate, construction disputes, probate disputes, organization conflicts (workplace, office, school, churches) business agreement disputes, and civil litigation.

Ms. Crilley’s mediation training received national approval in 2011 from the Association of Conflict Resolution (ACR).  She received her mediation training in 1999 from the Iowa Peace Institute; earned her J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Iowa in 1983 and her B.A. degree from the University of Northern Iowa in 1979.

Also in 2011, Christine became a member of the Academy of International Collaborative Professionals as well as a member of the Collaborative Lawyers of Eastern Iowa.

Christine has sat on numerous Boards including the Iowa Mediation Services of Eastern Iowa and is the Co-Chair of the Linn County Fee Arbitration Committee.  Ms. Crilley currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Iowa Association of Mediators (IAM); she is a current or past member of various mediation / dispute resolution organizations . She is currently the Contract Mediator for the City of Cedar Rapids as well as a member of the Linn County Bar Association and the Iowa Bar Association.

Ms. Crilley speaks for various organizations on a variety of law and dispute resolution related topics and in the Fall of 2009 began presenting seminars and mediation training at her Mediation and Law Center in Hiawatha, Iowa. She has mediated over 1,000 cases since she began mediating in 1999.  In addition to being a mediation trainer, mediator and attorney, Ms. Crilley is also an adjunct professor at Mount Mercy University, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she teaches a general course in dispute resolution.
